Need help with content ideas

I’m building an app that translates phone calls in real time between different languages. The main use case is for expats — for example, if you only speak English but live in Germany and need to call your internet provider, doctor, or any local service (and the struggle already starts with the voice menu 😅).
I want to create short videos (YouTube Shorts / TikTok) showing real use cases of the app. The challenge is: how to make them actually engaging and fun to watch, not just “useful”.
I’ve tried formats like:
It works as a concept, but the videos turned out… kind of boring, even though the idea makes sense.
So now I’m looking for ideas on:
- interesting scenarios/situations
- catchy formats or storytelling angles
- ways to make it visually engaging
Any thoughts or suggestions would be super appreciated! 🙏

You could focus on finding your people and reaching out to them directly. Especially if your app works you could ask to take a short call and prove your app just by starting the conversation. AS for interesting scenarios I find that interesting if you were to do skits of talking between two very different countries could probably use AI to get the production budget low. Best regards
