Need Help: FB ads for apparel industry

Posted by seohelper on November 10, 2020 at 11:29 pm

    Hi all,

I recently launched a new apparel line (specifically sweatshirts) with custom designs that my graphic artist developed. My main market is males, 18-35 years old, and US/EU/UK. The style is more streetwear.

I created traffic (top of funnel) ads so I could eventually retarget for purchase conversions but even then I’m barely getting link clicks for what I’m paying in return. E.g. would be that I created a cold interest audience (people who like Zara, H&M, streetwear, etc.) and barely got around 6-8 link clicks while the budget spent upwards of $75. I immediately turned the campaign off but I’ve tried this several times and the same thing keep happening.

If anyone has some suggestions or advice on what I could do, that would be great!

Your hoodies/design/brand must be garbage. That’s the only explanation. Nobody clicks links for garbage products.

It’s not about throwing money on the ad and expecting results. There’s always room for optimization! Try to put yourself in your customers POV, what type of ad would you click on? Create an ad that is engaging to your customers, there’s a buyer for everything.

Are you only retargeting? Or are you prospecting as well?

You should be able to get a CPC lower than a dollar I would imagine.

You need to narrow down the target audience and change the campaign goal to sales. You’re going too broad.

So I’m going to fire loads of questions at you now to be able to give you the best possible advice?

What are your campaigns optimised for?

    What’s your CTR?

What ad formats have you tried?

How many ad sets are you running?

How many ads per ad set?

    What’s your daily budget?

Depending on your answers, it could be that you’re watering down your budget and any chance of a sale or that your ads are making your audience want to click or the format is wrong.

What is your site? What does your creative look like? Maybe your creative is the issue and not your campaign set up.
