Need help breaking into competitive market

Posted by CokeZero666 on October 16, 2025 at 10:26 am

Hi all. I’ve been running Google ads for my real estate agency in a small city in Thailand. But we also have an office in Bangkok. Cost per lead is quite high.

Also there’s many challenges. Keywords like ‘condo for rent Bangkok’ is quite broad. But searched a lot.

If you don’t have a massive $10k per month budget. How would you go about breaking into the market but still get decent leads?

I want to target: condo for rent in Bangkok. Houses for rent and condos for sale.

I’ve ran some campaigns in the past, but they never seem to give us enough ROI

Start with long tail intent use exact match like condo for rent sukhumvit or house for sale thonglor instead of broad Bangkok build one campaign per district with tight geo radius and call only ads during business hours that’s how you get affordable qualified leads without huge spend

Figure out the reason behind high CPL. What’s the conversion rate? If the searches triggering your ads are already relevant enough, focus on fixing your landing page to bump up your conversion rate & score cheaper leads.

But if the CPC is quite high then make sure to work on the quality scores

You have to find low CPC keywords by researching them in Keyword Planner. I’ve done this for my own lead gen and found a few gems that are low cpc, long tail, and cheaper to bid on. It’s not going to be a humongous difference but enough for you to run off of with a small budget.

Find those keywords then run them on exact match and phrase match.
