So here's a summary, before yesterday. My average views on tiktok would be around 100-300 like alot of people. I tried posting from camera roll once a while but didnt change anything. Yesterday though, I got 2 1K Shorts which was suprisng for me. I decided the next day to upload more but now my channel is dead. I posted 2 more videos at around 10:00 and after a couple of hours one got 0 views and 1 like(my own) while the other got 20 viewsa and 3 likes. This is not normal as on average, my views would quickly go to 100 views in an hour then die. Why am I blackballed/shadowbanned from tiktok after a day for nothing?

Dude I feel you, TikTok’s algorithm is so frustrating sometimes. That inconsistency is actually pretty normal though – here’s what’s probably happening:

When you post, TikTok shows your video to a small batch of people first (100-200). If they engage well, it pushes it to a bigger batch. That’s why you usually hit 100 views fast. When you got those 1K videos, the algorithm tested your content on a bigger audience and it performed well.

But then you posted 2 more right after… TikTok might have seen that as trying to ride the wave too hard. The algo can be finicky about posting frequency changes. Also 0 views with 1 like (your own) is definitely weird – that sounds like a processing glitch more than a shadowban.

    A few things to try:

    – Don’t delete and repost, that actually hurts you

    – Stick to YOUR normal posting schedule (not more just bc one did well)

    – Check if you accidentally hit any content guidelines

    – Give it 24-48hrs, sometimes videos randomly pick up later

    – Make sure you’re using relevant (not spammy) hashtags

You’re probably not shadowbanned, but if you’re worried you can check your analytics to see if TikTok is actually pushing your stuff to FYP vs just showing it to followers.

If you wanna try boosting engagement to get back in the algo’s good graces, some people use services like Crescitaly to give their content that initial push. But honestly I’d just wait it out and post consistently.
