GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 4:05 amHave you tried following new viewers first, to encourage them to follow you back?

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 4:20 amIf not already, I would say “Follow me @randompage” as this might make people follow you a bit more.

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 4:33 amYeah its pretty normal. Some people simply like a post, may share it etc but really not fussed to go and like a specific page. I have a facebook page that reached 2-6 million a week easily and we get 2-5k new likes from that so yeah.

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 7:37 amThis will totally depend on the type of content you create/post. If you’re a meme page I’d say this is normal. If you’re a content creator or blogger, something weird is going on.
Also, feels like Instagram is currently updating some stuff and things feel a little wonky at the moment.

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 9:54 amyep, it’s normal (for you). It depends on so many factors and there is no general rule

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 10:01 amYeah I’d say experiment with call to action (CTA). In bio tell them the value of following you. “Follow for graphic design inspo” and again in caption after a few lines tell them the value again with your @. If you do sliders the last slides could have CTA such as “comment your… bla bla bla” “follow for daily design inspo –> sort of thing. Overall though it sounds perfectly normal ratio from what you’ve said. If anything quite healthy.

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 3:46 pmI’m also a graphic designer and don’t get nearly as many profile visits (are you saying you get 50k in a week?) but I average around 5-10k followers a month. It ebbs and flows. I think having a consistent style will help people follow you because they’ll be able to somewhat anticipate what’s coming next.
I always tell myself that the most recent 6 posts are what people will look at and decide to follow me based on, so it’s important I’m always posting stylistically consistent work that conveys a theme (in this case, definitely your style)

GuestJuly 29, 2020 at 9:44 pmWould definitely look to test using a call to action (CTA) and see if that drives any results. I’m sure the content is great to be pulling in the views/follows that you are.
To further that it’s likely you need to give them further incentive to follow – through a CTA, or any chance of interactions/giving back for those who do. I may be able to help with a bit of guidance on this – you’re welcome to PM me if you need to brainstorm at all!

GuestJuly 31, 2020 at 8:28 pmThis will be very content dependent. I don’t think it is a bad thing as a smaller more active follower base is better than a large inactive follower base.
