My horrendous experience with Guaranteed PPC and Corey Zeidman

Posted by Logical_Reveal5985 on December 29, 2025 at 5:16 am

TL;DR: Waited months for low-effort landing pages, no attribution, CRM connection issues, paid for low-quality leads, contract runaround, confusing repeat charges, and the owner is hard to reach.

I’m posting this as a warning for anyone considering Guaranteed PPC and Corey Zeidman for Google Ads.

We hired them to run Google Ads and help improve lead quality. What we got was months of delay, messy setup, and paid spam leads.

    What happened (timeline)

Months 1–5: We were told they were “building landing pages.” Originally stated 30 days. When they finally sent them over, the pages were basically copy-paste content pulled from our existing site. No real strategy, no clear reason the pages would convert better.

They also did not set up proper attribution on these pages, so tracking was weak from the start.

They also failed to connect the landing pages to our CRM properly, so lead flow and reporting were a mess.

Months 6–8: After more waiting, ads finally ran… and we were paying thousands of dollars for spam and extremely low-quality leads. Total waste.

    Cancellation and billing problems

When we asked to cancel, they argued that the “6-month contract” hadn’t been fulfilled, even though we signed over 8 months ago. They claimed they had “only done ads for 3 months,” and the contract was for “6 months of ads,” not “6 months of work.” That was not how it was presented to us.

After pushing back, we were still charged, and the charges showed up under different credit card processors. That’s when it crossed the line from frustrating to feeling shady.

    Communication

I could never reach Corey directly. I’d call, leave a message, and then get a callback 1–2 days later. No urgency, no ownership, no real support.

    About Corey’s YouTube content

Corey Zieman is also a YouTube personality for Guaranteed PPC, posting Google Ads tips and “agency secrets.” I watched a bunch of it after this started going sideways. I disagree with his approach, and in our case, it matched the results we saw: dated thinking, weak tracking practices, and a lack of care around lead quality.

If you’re thinking about hiring them, don’t. Our experience was wasted time, wasted ad spend, and an overall headache.

Hmmm this shows the core agency problem… misaligned incentives where they get paid regardless of results, so there’s no urgency to fix attribution or deliver actual business outcomes.

5-month delay was likely intentional to burn contract time… copy-paste pages with broken tracking and no CRM integration means collecting fees without doing work. The billing semantics confirm they prioritize revenue extraction over client success.

Proper implementation requires attribution before ads launch so you track closed deals not form fills… CRM integration flows lead data back via offline conversions so the algorithm learns what qualified leads look like, and landing pages need conversion testing with clear performance hypotheses.

Most agencies avoid this because it exposes when campaigns fail… without proper tracking they show “thousands of conversions” while you bleed money on garbage traffic that never closes. Contract structures lock you in while delivering nothing.

When evaluating agencies ask how they track closed revenue back to campaigns, their CRM integration process, and whether compensation depends on your business growth or just lead volume… anyone defensive about tracking implementation runs this same playbook.

y’know, in a sub that has its fair share of astroturfing posts it’s cool to see a post like this.

It’s very unfortunate you had this experience. Depending on how many landing pages or ads, this is something that easily could have been done within a month or two barring any wild changes to scope, who was doing the ad design, etc.

    Good luck in 2026!

hiring agencies is a skill, this is why most founders need to learn growth and hire internally. With AI it shouldn’t take more than a few hours to get a landing page live. Same with ads.

sorry to hear this. I would love to help. Let me know know how I can help. We do ask for 2 months min as a courtesy but released people after 1x month if they had any issues.

9 times out of 10 it was because they wanted the campaigns built and wanted to manage it themselves.
