My 41-Day Posting Experiment Across 7 Platforms (4 Posts a Day) — Starting Nov 20
Hey everyone, I’m a small creator trying to figure out what actually works for growth, and I wanted to share a challenge I’m starting tomorrow to see what happens.
I’ve been posting on YouTube every day for 216 days and only gained 199 subscribers. Meanwhile I keep seeing examples of extreme consistency paying off — a business posting 100 times a day that grew to 31M followers, and a friend who gained 200k on Instagram by posting daily for 30 days.
So I decided to run a structured experiment to see whether posting more really moves the needle or if I just need to improve my content.
⸻
📅 The Plan
From Nov 20 → Jan 1 (41 days) I’ll be posting:
• 4 times a day
• Across 7 platforms
• At peak times: 9 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, 7 PMThis equals 164 total pieces of content.
I’ll update this thread every day with:
• What I posted
• Engagement numbers
• Followers gained/lost
• What’s working / not workingAfter Jan 1 (my official channel relaunch), I’ll switch to my long-term schedule:
• 1 long-form video every Wednesday
• 6 shorts/reels per week
• I already have 6 months of content scheduled, so I’ll be building the next 6 months while this experiment runs.⸻
🎯 Goals
1. Get monetized on at least 1 platform
2. Reach 100k+ total followers across all platforms
3. Stay consistent enough to learn whether:
• Posting 4x/day actually accelerates growth
• Or if my content needs major improvementEither way, I’ll finally get real data instead of guessing.
