  Moving from Personal to Business on TikTok, Will hiding old videos hurt my reach?

  Hi everyone!

  I’m rebranding my personal TikTok to a business page. I definitely want to keep this specific account because it already has my business name/handle, so starting a new one isn't an option for me.

  ​I want to hide all my old personal videos to start fresh, but I’ve heard rumors that privating too many videos at once can lead to a "shadowban" or a major reach drop.

  Has anyone successfully pivoted an account like this? How many videos is "too many" to private at once?
