    Microsoft Ads Login Nightmare

Posted by bottomjengablock on February 17, 2026 at 1:15 am

It seems to be a crapshoot every day whether or not I'll be able to log into Microsoft Ads! Sometimes it works, but mostly I get caught in an endless death loop. Several of my coworkers said the same thing is happening to them too. Just wanted to complain about this lol.

I used to be able to log in using different browsers or incognito mode. But now those tricks aren't even working for me.

My God, I thought it was just me until LTT posted a video of the difficulty logging into other Microsoft products. I have my Ads dashboard bookmarked and every day the process is different… Sometimes I need to input my passcode, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I’m prompted for a pin, shoot sometimes it even tells me my password was invalid and then… logs in anyway. Absolutely bonkers.

Yes same issue. Fuck anything that’s on Microsoft. Is there a way to use passkey’s for an org-wide login?

Login to your Microsoft account (not your ads account), and change your login methods. Go remove your password. Yes, go passwordless. Otherwise, you’ll regularly get trapped in loops of being forced to reset your password – because everything is suspicious.

I use Microsoft Authenticator for Microsoft, Google, Meta, etc. I have Face ID on my phone and pc camera. Everything to avoid passwords with Microsoft. Don’t upgrade your phones without transferring your Authenticator steps. Save keys to a file on your pc just in case.

Also, if you have more than one email you use on Microsoft, have one setup on an MCC with the your accounts under with the other connected directly to the accounts. That gives you two ways of getting into them.

Plan like you would Meta with excess precautions. Different methods of course.

I’ve been having this issue as well, I get randomly disconnected for no reason, until I started using Windows Hello to connect to my Microsoft Ads account not via the website, but via Windows itself.

You put your email in, then a pop-up prompts you to input your Windows PIN login instead of the Microsoft email password, and you’re logged in… until they log you out for whatever reason.

I don’t know what they did to their login system but it’s plain horrendous right now.
