100% I couldn’t agree more, I previously worked at an agency where they would essentially rob small business owners. Its a bit of a double edge sword though because the smaller clients do come with so much more client management compared with those with a larger budget who trust what they’re getting, have the time to stick around for a few months to watch results or can simply eat the losses if they simply aren’t getitng the results and move on

Marketing for a Small business is truly the most difficult type of client to take on.

With small ad spends, little data and little time to go through the optimization process with a very low tolerance to cyclical ups and downs… they have the odds stacked against them.

The good news is that if the business happens to be in an industry that has yet to mature (Few of their competitors have fully embraced digital technologies much less marketing), you can take that small business and quickly help them blossom.

Another area is franchisees. Often they are stuck with a corporate mandated marketing platform.. which is woefully inadequate. Helping them market outside of that cookie cutter approach can produce big gains.

Man.. I took a “guru’s course” and I was still scared to play with people’s money ?

Do have any advice on how I could get started?

I’ve already ran ads for myself before doing local cash on delivery ecommerce, but in my local market which is different. It’s like really cheap and people would pay waay less because of economic difference.

So where would you recommend I start??
I think I have some skills, but I just am afraid to “play with people’s money” like you said ^^

Would be really grateful if anyone can help actually !
