LTV LAL: What’s a good strategy?

Posted by seohelper on July 2, 2020 at 12:26 am

    Hey everyone.

I work in the e-commerce industry.
A little before sh*t hit the fan back in March, I started a link click campaign (app download for iOS and Android), with a LTV LAL audience.

It was the first time I’d ever used that, so I mostly rounded up every single customer ever (2 years worth, approx. 500~ unique records) when I worked on that audience.
The ads ran way better than expected, with thousands of new accounts, many new customers, and a few new very solid high value return customers.

It’s been 3 months+ now, and it’s safe to say the audience has run its course. I’m currently working on creating a new lifetime value list, but I’m a little unsure about how to go for this 2nd run.

Initially, I was simply going to extract the entire purchase logs, from day 0 to now, and combine the necessary data to generate the audience. But part of me thinks that the last 3 months’ data could get tainted, resulting in a sizeable overlap with the previous audience.

**My questions:** What’s the best way to go about this 2nd round of LTV-based LAL audience building?
And what’s a good strategy for LTV anyway?

    Thank you for your help!
