Looking to study SEO
Posted by on January 17, 2026 at 4:56 pmHey guys, any suggestion on where to start? I've checked out many books and most refer to "write good content and you'll get free links". But that doesn't sound serious.
Where should I start? Does SEO usually mean spending thousands on link building?

YouTube is probably your best bet. My favorite channel was always Matt Diggity’s.

Mark Williams-Cook has a great course on Udemy. Comprehensive and expertly presented.

Start with technical SEO + search intent + on-page optimization.
Links matter, but you don’t need to buy them — good distribution beats spam. -
I would suggest building your own website to keep learning the technical things.
