Hi everyone! I have been reading a lot about SEO and it has been overwhelming to say the least… Every time I try to better my site in this regard, it feels like I’m doing it wrong and hurting the site more than I better it…

A little backstory before getting into the details. Formerly a production manager in the garment industry, I have become a freelancer for a few years, working with clients on their own production as well as business management, graphic works and such. I became a go to guy for my main clients on a vast area of topics. Mainly working wholesale with retailer and distributors I never had the need of an efficient website. Even for my own brand I was able to score some hits with retailers and keeping busy with freelancing. Now comes the “rona” like the youngsters like to call it (covid-19) and the wholesale aspect of my industry has gone to sh*t… For me and mainly for my customers… Business sucks right now. So I have been trying to focus on the BtoC aspect of things and sale the goods directly to customers, meaning through an online shop….

So I have had my site for a long time 5-6 years, Shopify store, that I mainly used as a window for the wholesale aspect of things. 10 visits in one day is a good day…. So I’m obviously not making a living of that at the moment … Every time I try something in regards to SEO it seems like I uncover more problems that I can’t solve.. (Google not indexing the home page yet indexing product pages? Dig deeper there are some sort of warnings on those product pages…) Etc…

So I’m looking to hire a freelance or an agency for 3 months or so, to help me do the ground work. I want to be fully transparent as I intend to learn from the person who would be willing to work with me in order to add some skills to my resume as well. (Not expecting that person to teach me, but for me to dig deeper following their methodology). I know SEO takes time, but I am also aware of the “entry” cost from what I’ve read here ($300 – 500 a month) so I don’t know how long I would be able to afford such cost. Best case scenario covid goes away and my freelance picks up again and I can think long term….

So that sums up my situation, if anyone is interested or could direct me to a reliable / knowledgeable freelance / agency I’d highly appreciate.

    The site is http://www.narvaloclothing.com

    Thanks in advance

I offer freelance SEO monthly and an SEO workshop. The SEO Workshop is a 1-hour pre-recorded video series on how to find topics to write about and rank in Google. You can reference those videos at anytime.

In addition to that, I can provide a free SEO audit of your site to get you a baseline report / what I would do to help increase your traffic. Let me know if you are interested / want me to send over any links to my work.
