Looking for advice on growing my account and getting some clients tiktok
Posted by on October 3, 2025 at 3:19 pmI'm currently working on growing an account for being a fitness/ weight loss coach, I have lost over eight stone and have a lot of knowledge in the area and would like to help other people except I'm having some problems despite having a very high like to view ratio. My videos aren't going over 350, I have moved to editing my videos on capcut as well as using a ring light in most of my videos. This is not really improved my views. I have a few of my own reasons. I think one of them being that I use promote one time. I've heard that can damage your account. Another problem is people keep reporting my account for me being underage despite the fact I verified that I'm over 18 multiple times, tiktok keeps asking me to redo it. Is this normal? And I think the biggest problem is that whenever I post a story or a video saying that I'm looking for clients and that it's currently free because I would just like the content for it. The bottom corner I put terms and conditions that if someone asks for them I will send them as well as asking them to be over 18. Now the problem is every time I post this I get loads of DMS from girls who are 15 or younger asking me to help them lose unhealthy amounts of weight. And then when I tell them that it's not okay and they should get some help and I send them some resource links they get pretty angry and then report my account . And for some reason tiktok always takes their side and I think it's just really damaging my count and I'm really struggling to figure out how to get over that while still potentially getting some clients.
I have thought about moving over to Facebook as maybe there would be a better audience on there for this sort of thing. As I found with tiktok, it's all just about fad diets and extreme weight loss and that's not really what I'm about. So any advice on moving over to Facebook? Should I do it if I do a Facebook ads a good idea?
