LinkDaddy Review: $8,400 Spent, 86% Toxic Backlink Profile
$8,400 Spent, 86% Toxic Backlink Profile
I paid LinkDaddy approximately $8,400 over 2024-2025 for SEO backlink services, including their Cloud Authority campaigns, DoFollow packages, and a custom backlink strategy.
The Result: An independent backlink audit showed 86% of my backlink profile became toxic. While my Domain Authority number increased, my actual search rankings and organic traffic suffered—the opposite of what SEO services should accomplish.
When I raised concerns:
- My account was immediately closed
- All remaining credits were zeroed out
- Refund requests were denied
- My follow-up emails were labeled "harassment"
- I received threats about being reported to payment processors
The company points to my approval of their "strategy" as proof I accepted the outcome. But approving a plan isn't the same as approving defective execution that damages your website.
Bottom line: I paid for SEO improvement and received SEO damage. When I documented the harm with third-party audit data, the response was account termination and legal threats rather than any attempt at resolution.
I would caution any business owner considering these services.
