Liftoff Mobile Russian traffic – Any else had this issue?
Posted by on March 7, 2026 at 10:30 pmHi all – having some issues with Liftoff Mobile for a client – had good performance until ~D7 and then the algo tanked.
Checking Similarweb – seems a huge portion of landing traffic from Russia.
Has anyone experienced similar?

I’ve seen this happen before — sometimes networks like Liftoff open up inventory that pulls in a lot of low-quality traffic from certain geos, especially once the algorithm starts trying to scale.
I’d double-check your geo targeting and placements, and consider blocking Russia or tightening the allowed regions if it’s not part of your target market.
