  Landing page with different domain to go to my main site for advertising purposes. How to best setup?

  I have my main website built and going well, lets say the domain is http://www.myspecialsite.com which I have setup with Wix

  I recently bought a seperate domain to take advantage of current market shifts in my area (i.
  e. http://www.specialproduct.com) which currently only redirects to my main site and I want to use it for targeted advertising. This is obviously bad for Google Ads as it is a redirected url.

  The solution I am thinking seems convoluted. I would need to build a landing page with my 2nd domain in mind, and have this landing page have links to my main site. It sounds like I simply will need to buy a separate website through Wix or another provider to be able to connect the domain.

  Is there a better method that I am not thinking of or am I on the right path? Thanks in advance
