How do you join a group as a page if you are already a member?
I can only seem to leave the group to get the option to join as a page.

But some groups I’m active in and dont want to leave with my personal account

I’m also curious about if there’s a manual way to do this.

There are several groups of which I’m a member with both my personal account and page, and the way that I’ve managed that is from sharing my page’s posts into said group by using my personal account. It might not happen on the first try, but after a few shares I’ll get a pop-up from FB asking me if I want to join that group as my page.

I’m sure there’s a more efficient way to do it, but this has worked for me with multiple groups.

    1. group admin has to toggle on allow pages to join.

    2. Facebook has removed the toggle. you cannot join as page anymore.

You first need to join the Group as a Page and then you’ll need to click on “Interacting as” and then click “Join” next to your profile’s name.

This will invite your personal profile to the Group and you need to be approved by the Admin (depending on the Group’s Settings).

I’m sorry, but as a group admin I’m gonna say I think it’s better to be yourself than a page! What is the group’s focus?
