Issues with GSC + data studio
I’ve been trying to summarise organic channel performance with data studio’s connector to search console, but there seems to be a hidden limiter of some kind. If I chart the last month, I get data that matches the tables in GA – but if I go back 12 months and slap on some filters I’ll be lucky to get any data at all.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I wouldn’t be surprised if there were limits on data pulls or sampling but I can’t find anything online about it which makes me think I’m doing something wrong.
My aim was to chart the clicks and avg position of my top 5 non-brand keywords over the past 12 months, with minimal effort and cost, but I’ve already spent more time dicking around here than I hoped to! Any suggestions at all..?
