  • Is travel blogging worth it in 2026?”

Posted by triptravelworld on February 11, 2026 at 2:37 pm

I’m thinking of starting a travel blog, but not sure if it’s worth my time. Has anyone done it recently? Does it really work or is it too hard?

I was looking at travel themes this morning.

I think all blogs are worth it.

It depends on what value you are providing to your reader. In this niche, adding real experience and product reviews will help. You can definitely go for it, but think of long term goal for the blog as well.

I think so, if you can provide first hand experiences.

Standard info type stuff is obsolete.

Be a source for experiences and reviews. Be something that AI cannot.

Travel blogging can still work in 2026, but not as a “publish 50 guides and wait” strategy. What’s working better lately is reactive marketing. Creating content around live travel trends, airline changes, visa updates, events, viral destinations, etc., while search and social interest is spiking.

Yes, travel blogging can still work in 2026, but it’s not easy.

Organic traffic alone usually isn’t enough, so you need multiple monetization streams, affiliate, ads, products, or lead gen.
