  • Is there an SEO plugin that allows hiding article published and modified date from meta?

I’m trying to keep the published and modified date of older informational posts hidden. I’m using the plugin ‘WP Meta and Date Remover’ to hide these dates from my site and to stop them appearing in Google Searches. However, if I try to use an SEO plugin – I’ve tried both Yoast and SEO – the published dates reappear and neither seems to have an option to disable publish date and modified date meta. Does anyone know of any plugins that can allow this? Or have this within the options?

Taxonomy in WordPress is really not that difficult. I could readily program what you need and include a toggle within Posts in about a couple of hours. Why integrate a bloated piece of software (plugin) when what you need is very small. Hire a coder.

I’m guessing this is because you’re using a page builder and you’re not wanting it to show up in search results?
