Is my ad working?
Posted by on November 10, 2020 at 11:13 pmI made an ad on google ads for my shopify store.
I set it up and I thought all the tracking was set up.
When I look at the ad in good ads it shows all the clicks, average time on website, average page views, ect. But it reports no sales.

When I go on google analytics and look at the acquisition folder, and then under ‘google ads’ I find that it says the ad has brought in three sales.
I have spent all day talking with people to get whatever this problem is fixed.
I talked with a google ads rep and they said I don’t have my tracking installed.
Then I talked with shopify and they said that the google channel on my store automatically sets it up.
But I can only make smart shopping campaigns from there.

Any idea what to do?

How are you reporting the conversions back into Google Ads?
Check out measureschool on YouTube they have incredibly comprehensive videos on how to set up proper conversion tracking 🙂
