The lack of communication and reneging on promises sucks though, that level of customer service should be a given at any level. There are better agencies out there that don’t do that kind of thing.

GuestMay 4, 2023 at 2:15 amThe changes every two weeks might not be a red flag as there are other factors like spend levels, campaign performance, history of the account is such that it requires minimal changes
But for the kind of service and experience offered it’s disappointing, if you are satisfied with their results and they are actually delivering better than you handling or anyone handling in the past then get on a call and communicate your expectations clearly one final time
If they still don’t be proactive, then best to switch to another agency/freelancer
As you might get performance elsewhere and more peace of mind due to better communication

GuestMay 4, 2023 at 3:37 pmGot done over by a couple of those $500 a month groups early on when starting a little online business. We ended up shutting off their access to the account, taking over the very little work that had been done, watching a bunch of Aaron Young on youtube and other YouTube ‘how to get started’ videos, rebuilding and tweaking a couple of ads, increasing the budget, watching more videos….it took a few months to sort it and let the ads gather steam but went from under 200 roas to a regular daily 900 roas and during the peak season 1200-1300 roas. Working on a budget of $80-$120 a day at the moment, still small potatoes but started on $20 a day. Still probably only know the bare basics, but if you are willing to invest in your own education of how it works, at the very least, you can understand how it operates and know whether someone is assisting you with your growth or taking you for a ride. I think there are quite a few of those companies that put more effort into retention than your account growth & our mistakes make them good money…but hey, lesson learned. Good luck! Word of mouth is sometimes more helpful than a google search when it comes to finding good help.
