On most of my pages the length is around 70-80 words. Does it really effect the clicks ??

On the first 12 words or so, yes. But they can be any length. Ignore the plugins that tell you to keep them short.

70 to 80 words or characters?

A long title tag will be cutoff (truncated) by Google on a SERP page, which means that having 70+ words there is unlikely to have any value on clicks.

That being said, Google reads the full title tag and a number of recent tests seem to indicate that you’re okay to run up your character count in the interest of finding added search terms to connect the page to.

Do you mean Page titles? The ones that if too long Bing will not list your page? Hint.
