Is it possible to continue running Facebook ads as I travel to a different country?

Posted by seohelper on July 1, 2021 at 1:49 pm

I am currently running Facebook ads for my Shopify store and am travelling from Canada to the Middle East shortly, I am wondering if this would stir up trouble with the good ol Facebook guidelines?

Answers online seem to be very vague. Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

I did that going from EU to Korea.

Basically I set up 2FA, paused all my ads, the logged into FB ads on my laptop, confirmed new device and then when I went to the new country I logged in again and started the ads. No problems for me.

I would imagine if you set up a static IP and then VPN into a machine that you could control remotely, FB would not be aware you are in a different location.

I would buy a security key and copy the certificates to it and have it with me for 2FA. That takes care of roaming issues with the phone or the laptop left at home going offline during an outage.

I wasn’t aware of this when I traveled and it completely shot my ad performance until I got back four months later.. I would recommend doing with thelostdutchman said

No issues bro just make sure you don’t close your browser or log out so your not logging in different areas just keep it open done it many times.

Or you can get Multilogin and load up a legit proxy like residential and doesn’t matter where you are it will always think your in the same place.
