Is it normal to spend $43 for 1,000 impression on FB ads?

Running this the first 15 hours and performance is so trash I don’t now why. My CPC is $1.67. I spent $50 total so far and I only got 38 links click. Is this normal? I don’t remember FB ads being this expensive. Btw I’m running e-commerce ad

Whilst high, it is somewhat the norm. $1 cpc’s are normal.

Try changing creative?

It’s election season. All kinds of spend going on right now probably driving up CPMs

CPC under $2 is pretty normal, but this CPM sounds insane. up to $20 should be upper limit for October, even in election year
