Is it necessary to include city in query when city is geo targeted?
Posted by on November 10, 2020 at 1:39 amSo let’s say I am in Atlanta and I am targeting nurses looking for work. Is it necessary to include the city in the query or is Google smart enough to trigger the ads based on geo target.
Example: I am bidding on +nursing +jobs
Is it necessary to bid on +nursing +jobs +atlanta. ??

I always have localized adgroup even though I am running bmm
To do so I also have a localized pages for keyword authority to reduce cost.
My localized adgroup are always on phrase match and I also try to include exact match popular relevant localized query

The geo targeting should work fine, however I have had success targeting a wider area with the location terms in a separate campaign.
