  • Is creating secondary websites with certain important keywords in their domain names a good SEO tactic?

Let’s say I’m selling rubber balls.

Would it be a good SEO strategy to create some websites with domain names such as:

    [redrubberballs.com](https://redrubberballs.com) and [bouncyredballs.com](https://bouncyredballs.com) ?

If yes, redirecting these sites back to the primary site is okay or should I rather just create some content there around those keywords?

    Thanks

Simply redirecting a domain will not really provide any benefit besides branding and ease of use. You have to build websites with unique content on those domains and get them indexed and ranked in order to have SEO value.

These websites will have no authority in the internet space hence no benefit. You will have to post valuable content that ranks and get some traffic.

Same effort can be put into your existing website.
