  • Is building backlinks and referring domains though comments a bad idea?

The obvious answer to me is no because the pages I want to outrank are all receiving back links and referrals this way, however, I wanted to ask you all. I only need around 30 back links to rank for some less competitive terms, what is the best approach?

I am referring to commenting on relevant blog posts with backlinks to my page that I would like to rank.

No, it’s not a bad idea.

blog commenting is the most effective tactic in SEO.

You can proceed with blog commenting with this technique you can generate good traffic to your website and rankings as well.

But you need to be genuine whenever you do blog commenting, simply don’t write something only 2 or 3 words, it won’t works.

you need to be fully prepared and give appreciation or ask any question or thanking words.

It’s not a bad idea if you’re going to do it maybe between 1-5 times, but any more than that won’t really do much for you. It’s important to have a varied backlink profile.
