Instagram won’t send me sms and is saying that my password is wrong
Posted by on March 18, 2021 at 12:28 pmI tried to temporarily disable instagram a few days ago and to do that it required me to use my password, which I did and I know it’s correct because it is a SAVED password on my phone. When that didn’t work I tried to reset my password with my phone number but it’s connected to my old one so I tried to change the number connected to it but it won’t even send me my sms. All I want to do is delete or disable my instagram because it’s a shit hole. Please help or give tips?? P.s it’s saying my email isn’t working either

I’m having the same issue, but I’m trying to get into a business Instagram that I manage that I DON’T want to delete. I’m so frustrated, I’m about ready to hire a hacker.

On the Instagram website, click on “Help” on the very bottom.
It will take you to the Help Center, click on “Privacy and Security”
and on the next page, “Data Policy”
Scroll all the way down and there is a link right about the mailing address that will let you fill out your name and email and an option which includes deleting your account.
For social media sites, you have to be patient and do a lot of searching on their help centers to eventually find an email or contact for help.
