Instagram promotions always rejected.

I run an account documenting my personal journey getting over Bowel Cancer and living with an invisible disability, so I do check the box that says ‘if your post is about social issues’ etc. That might be the reason why, but surely the disclosure covers that?
I never get an explanation of why the promotions are rejected and can’t see any other good reason why they would be. Does anyone else have this problem? What did you do to fix it?

That’s not really a social issue IMO. Don’t check that box and see what happens. Feel free to post your promoted copy here so we can see any red flags if any exist.

You can request a review for approval. I’ve done that on a denied ad campaign and an actual person looked at it (I suppose) and it was approved.
Maybe you used too much text on image, maybe language that struck as inappropriate?
Also like other poster said it’s not really a social issue and maybe it works if you uncheck that box

There was a time when you could use certain tactics and gain a lot of followers within few days. Some people found follof4follow or buying followers practical but that doesn’t work anymore.
Here are some reasons why you’re not gaining followers on Instagram.
**You’re not engaging enough**
You spend time creating your posts and planning them but don’t spend any time on engagement. It is important to reply to the comments because if you don’t, your followers won’t feel valued and won’t keep doing it.

**Not using the appropriate hashtags**
The right combination of hashtags helps you reach new people.
Picking the right hashtag is the hard part. You’re allowed to use up to 30 hashtags, so you should be using all of them. Choose a hashtag that is relevant to your niche. For example, if you are a “fashion person” choose #fashion #style etc.
**Live video is your friend**
Instagram Live can help boost your discoverability on Instagram. Nowadays video content has become one of the best and engaging ones. Videos are sensitive, practical, and appealing. ( For high-quality live video, you can go live from your pc or mac using the app called yellowduck)
