Instagram new location
Posted by on February 7, 2021 at 5:26 amHow do you make a new location on Instagram? I know this used to be (a few years ago) as simple as typing in your location in the text box. Then I’ve seen tutorials from 2019 saying you make a Facebook location first and then using it. I’ve tried that but not been able to make a new Facebook location. Does anyone have any tips?

They made a new update. Now the location is tied to Facebook page locations. The location needs to be verified. They’re looking to prevent people from making places up like they used to.
