Instagram DM’s landing in ‘hidden requests’ and ‘spam’
Posted by on March 4, 2026 at 7:01 pmMe and my team are trying to do outreach on instagram. Back in early 2025 we used to warm an account for 7 days then scale up messages by 1 message / day, until we hit a maximum of 30 messages / day.
Nowadays we tried the same thing. We created 4 accounts from completely new IP's. But the very first messages we send out land in either 'hidden requests' or 'spam'.
How can we fix this?

I’m having the same problem right now. Instagram was zero help.
