Instagram DM automation tool
Posted by on December 3, 2025 at 7:56 pmI'm looking for a DM automation tool for Instagram. I'm a freelancer running Insta accounts for 6 (and hopefully more) brands. One of the ways to drive more engagement and revenue for the brands is by sending DMs to engaged followers. Obviously, my clients are happy when this happens, but it's a big manual lift to stay on top of this. Has anyone used DM automation tools for Instagram. If so, which tools and were they successful?

They definitely can be successful if you put the work into customize your canned responses to make them on-brand, engaging, and revenue-driving. I haven’t used them but check out Vista Social for this. You should upcharge clients for something like this btw.
One other thing I’ll add is that you could get a virtual assistant to help you with this. -

You should have check out ManyChat, it does something like this.
You know when you see creators say “Comment ‘awesome’ on this post and I’ll send you my thing”, and you comment and it’s in your inbox in a few seconds, that’s ManyChat.
