    Impression share?

Posted by seohelper on June 5, 2021 at 10:42 pm

Stupid question but should I be concerned if my impression share is the highest? I have some keywords where I am 88% impression share, top of page rate. 67%, 53% abs top of page etc and the next highest is only 38%. This is target CPA bidding. Should I be reducing my target CPA or leave it? I have it set to $150 TCPA. I was thinking of reducing it to $100 and work my way up or should I slowly reduce it downwards from $150 to $140, $130 etc?

I’d say leave it. tCPA sets bids to get max conversations at or below the target. If it can get the same conversations at a lower CPA then it will. My guess is if you reduce the tCPA then you’ll get less conversations.

Your tCPA should be based on your own business goals, not what your competitor is doing.
