Correct. Those that spend time building their personal brand are doing that out of necessity and/or to sell you a course or some other BS. None of that is needed by the real pros as they have waitlists of high paying clients a mile long and/or they simply retired long ago.

no!!! I disagree with you. SEO is one of the complicated and toughest jobs to do. so without practical knowledge, you can’t even dare to tell the full form of the seo terms.

I think there are scammers and charlatans out there who talk a big game, but I do believe there are just as many people who are real experts with real expertise and success who enjoy discussing the industry with others.

I feel you. Lots of SEOs talk theory, not execution. That’s how you identify a scam.

Well, not all but 90 percent.
I recently started posting on LinkedIn was checking a few guys having huge follower counts. Not just the content, they had no or very less clients at all.
They talk big but were working as a single person outsourcing most of the work to their VA who had no idea how SEO works. -
Real SEOs are busy fixing weird crawling stuff and arguing with devs, not inventing new acronyms.

I don’t know if you’re pointing at me, but the alphabet of made up terms is because I actually do the work. I’m poking fun at what you’re calling out, not claiming it’s real at all. I started doing web stuff on dial up in 1991, got involved in SEO in 2003, and I have hand coded sites from then that still rank.
