    What platform ?
    When did the clicks happen ?
    How are you viewing the page view data ?

    Optimize for landing page views instead. These machines are pretty good at doing what you tell them to do: get me clicks – here’s a ton of clicks dawg!

    That’s exactly what it means, yes! Link clicks are not necessarily clicks on a link to your website, so maybe people just interacted with your ad. Try optimizing for landing page views instead.
