IDEA đź’ˇ – Social media needs a “Politics OFF” toggle like NSFW – who else wants this?
Posted by on November 16, 2025 at 12:17 amWe can already hide NSFW content with one switch. Why not a global “Politics” filter that mutes posts, ads, and suggested accounts touching elections, partisanship, or hot-button policy?
I’d pay extra for a feed that’s just memes, hobbies, tech, and cat videos—no doomscrolling required.
Yay or nay? Is this possible?

A lot of social media sites allow you to mute certain words. Just use that.

I don’t get any politics from the algorithm so maybe start a new account and be mindful what you’re following
