    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to have a program where I interview experts in different fields from my own ethnic background & in my own language.

My first confirmed guest is a successful social media influencer with 1 million fans.

My 2nd confirmed guest is a professor of harvard business school and advisor to former U.S presidents.

However, I’ve never interviewed anyone online, on youtube, or on clubhouse. These people know me and trust to do this with me from other channels. I’m pretty sure I can do a decent job (hopefullY!) but I’m unsure on what’s the best platform to have maximum impact? (I’m not trying to necessarily make money or sell anything from this, I’m just trying to educate people and push back on certain frauds, thus I want to have maximum impact & people hearing these interviews)

I wanna know what is your suggestion if any on one of the following methods:

    1) I interview the guest on clubhouse room with some audience, record the interview, put it on youtube & instagram as well. OR

    2) I interview them on Youtube through a zoom call. (I assume this will look better, but also comes with complications for the guest since they have to get prepared and be on the video etc.)

I appreciate any inputs you may have.

If you’re wanting good audio quality and if it’s possible, have the interviewee record their own audio on their end in addition to what ever you use to record. Also record yourself locally on a different device than the one recording the whole interview. Then take the best quality of all three and blend them together.

If you’re looking for simple and low post-production and only want the best audio quality of the simplest platform, you’ll have to test them all on your own. Your mic, recording room and internet connection will affect quality just as much as the interviewees mic, recording room and internet connection.

On Zoom, choose the option to record to the cloud instead on onto your computer. Cloud recording gives you a higher quality file to work with. Not great but better.

And do some practice interviews with friends or others before the big ones to make sure that you’re comfortable with the technology you choose and with the interview format.
