I scraped 200 LinkedIn posts from an SEO guy who gets clients and extracted every hook
One of my clients runs an SEO agency and wanted more inbound from LinkedIn.
Instead of guessing what to post, I scraped ~200 posts from an SEO person (Jake Ward) who consistently gets engagement and clients from LinkedIn.
Then I extracted the hook from every single post and analyzed them.
Here’s what I noticed:
- Most high-performing hooks use specific numbers.
- A lot of them challenge common SEO advice.
- They talk about revenue and pipeline, not rankings.
- The formatting is short, clean, and built for mobile.
