I’m not sure if it’s ideal to clear site cache after deploying a (wordpress) plugin that is focused on optimizing the existing pages as they are. I deployed a tool that removes unused CSS from each page.

I’m excited to see if it helped. Is there anything I can do to see the new speed results, or is there a typical timeframe I need to wait to test again?

    Thanks!

    28 days

Edit – the pagespeed tool from Google can test and give lab results, but the result in search console is based on 28 days of data

Page speed result is in real time, meaning you should see the result right away.

Instantly. Field data is not reflected for a while. Pagespeed insights defaults to a 3g connection on a moto g4, it targets the lowest common denominator. Use gtmetrix to accurately diagnose issues.
