I have realized engagement is better than views
Posted by on November 25, 2025 at 1:29 pmI wanted to grow my Tiktok account in my free time so I started creating content for it. I used to think hitting high views and going viral was everything. Some of my videos crossed 20k but people did not comment much and followers were stuck at 2k. It felt like a win to me in the start but then I realized it was not.
So I started to focus on getting engagement and making my content reach people who actually were interested in my niche and would interact with my content. I looked for different ways and found a tool for it that helped me target the right audience by setting hashtags and other metrics. I could see a clear difference after using it for one week, my engagement inproved and people started commenting and sharing. I also started getting genuine followers due to my videos reaching right people.
When I focused on the right thing my numbers started going up. What do you guys think is better a million views or the right engagement?

I used to get excited about views and take it as growth but now I know those were just numbers real growth is engagement along with views.

Engagement always beats views. Real growth comes from building relationships with your audience, not just hitting numbers.
