So yeah I’m a singer in a band and have heavily considered highering someone to run our bands media for us as we dont really know how to do that as the two lead members (me and my friend) both have mental issues that make understanding and using social media a living hell for us.

That being said what is your opinion on this? Should we hire someone to run our media for growth and long term engagement or should I try to learn myself as maybe I just lack resources?

Additionally, where could I potentially learn about how to effectively utilize social media platforms? As im so used to college courses at this point I’m not sure who to trust or not on YouTube or otherwise.

I’d say hire someone. Find someone who works within your budget as it’s a whole job and most people usually get someone to manage market their socials.

If you do want to get into it and prefer college course like format you can check out Coursera or Udemy . They have free or low cost social media marketing courses. That’ll help you understand the basics and how to go about it yourself. If you have the time it would help to know the basics so even if you don’t do it yourself you will understand what another person is doing and can communicate better with them
