I am looking for a social media management tool
Posted by seohelper on November 12, 2020 at 5:13 pmDoes anyone have some good experience with social media management tools?
I have six social media accounts I have to manage and we don’t want to pay too much for it.
But it must be able to work with LinkedIn.Wild_One_6363 replied 5 years, 4 months ago 1 Member · 20 Replies -

GuestNovember 12, 2020 at 6:14 pmI’m the co-founder if a social media scheduling tool called OneUp, which supports LinkedIn.
I think its a great social media scheduling tool, but I’m pretty biased 🙂

I’ve been looking at something similar. To me, it seems there are a few core capabilities that are wildly variable in the tools out there. I’ve taken a few trials, but haven’t come to a conclusion of the best solution.
To me, the core capabilities are:
* Scheduled posting – Being able to post to networks on a schedule. Upload 1 asset and reformat it with changes for each social network. Photos & videos.
* Social inbox – Being notified and able to respond to comments on my posts.
* Social search & engagement – Being able to search for industry terms (across multiple social channels) and be able to comment on other people’s stuff from the tool. Some support this, kinda. They will search, but not allow you to engage. Or, they have a very low number of keywords, and that means you can only really watch brand terms versus core industry topics.
* Analytics – Being able to do a comparison of my various posts to see which ones had more versus less engagement.I’d love to find the best alternative, reasonably priced, that can do this. And, because I’m working with multiple brands, it would be nice to be able to namespace these things off and work with multiple brands.

GuestNovember 12, 2020 at 10:22 pmWhatever you go with, make sure it’s not kontentino… It works fine for scheduling to LinkedIn, but trying to automate posting to Facebook and Instagram is a hassle.
With Facebook, you have to go through multiple steps to get connected.
For IG, you can schedule it just fine, but posting isnt automated. The Kontentino app sends you a notification to publish the post. So you open the app, have to copy the image and caption, and manually paste it into IG to post it. Not ideal

GuestNovember 13, 2020 at 1:04 amBuffer, Hootsuite, and Later are the top tools. All roughly the same cost.

GuestNovember 13, 2020 at 1:35 amThere are a ton of these. Almost a new one everyday on the saas company product pages I monitor. I probably love socialbee. But there are lots of them that do this well.

GuestNovember 13, 2020 at 5:59 amI recommend Buffer! Integrates with multiple clients and also LinkedIn. Analytics is separate though and not included in the base scheduler tool
