I am familiar with all web development-related metrics, including page speed, Lighthouse score, accessibility, alt description, meta description, following JSON-LD schema, technical SEO, and page loading times.

What else, from a purely SEO perspective, should be tracked?

Google have often emphasised the importance of a good user experience, however they define that, so good UX skills are also needed. It’s not just a technical thing.

From an SEO perspective, focus on outcomes, not just site health. Track organic traffic and keyword rankings for target queries. Monitor impressions, CTR, and indexed pages using Google Search Console. Keep an eye on top landing pages, backlinks, and referring domains. Also watch bounce rate, time on page, and conversions from organic traffic to see if your SEO is actually working.
