How to turn likes into sales?
Posted by ImportanceHopeful150 on August 27, 2025 at 8:12 amHi, I have some videos that are receiving some likes, the product is liked, I am also being left comments, but how do I transform the likes, comments and views into sales?

A strat I’ve seen in IG work well is “comment “GIVEME” for a free 5 step process to impliment this in your workflow” or something like that (then using automation tool to message them and enter them into your lead list).

GuestAugust 27, 2025 at 12:53 pmLikes are cool, but they don’t pay the bills. The bridge between engagement and sales is a clear path. Are you giving people an obvious next step? (Link in bio, pinned comment, simple “DM me to order.”) Most people won’t hunt for how to buy, you’ve got to make it frictionless. Also, test offers not just content, sometimes a small urgency (limited stock, free shipping, bonus) is what flips a like into action

GuestAugust 27, 2025 at 4:59 pmI would prefer closed sales than 1M likes but no sales. If you’re after views or likes, then why not. I prefer chatting and seeing how I can help solve the problem. If not, I’m happy I could give some tips

GuestAugust 27, 2025 at 5:07 pmAdd a clear CTA (call to action) at the beginning or end of the post and make sure you’re using ManyChat to auto respond. This is how you set up what’s essentially a “DM funnel”.

GuestAugust 27, 2025 at 7:06 pmHighlight positive comments, reviews, or testimonials from happy customers. This builds trust and social credibility. Every piece of content should have a clear CTA. Whether it’s “Shop Now,” “Learn More,” or “Link in bio,” make sure you direct them towards a purchase. You can also put influence through urgency and testimonial these are proven mindsets of SMM to convert socials interactions and traffic into potential leads.

GuestAugust 27, 2025 at 8:45 pmDefinitely have either a visible brand for direct traffic, a CTA somewhere or some kind of hook like a discount code, that normally works for me

GuestAugust 28, 2025 at 12:59 amLikes and comments show people are interested, but you need to give them a clear next step. Reply to comments with friendly answers and mention where they can get the product. Add pinned comments or captions with product details or offers. Keep it easy for them to go from liking your content to actually buying

GuestAugust 28, 2025 at 5:15 amlikes don’t equal sales. A like means nice vid. it doesn’t mean they’re ready to spend. If you wanna flip engagement into money, you gotta move people from just watching to talking with you. Easiest way? Reply to comments in a way that opens the door. If someone drops a 🔥under your vid, don’t just say thanks.say something like appreciate it 🙌 crazy thing is this method covered my phone bill last week, you trying to do the same? That takes it from small talk → DM convo → sale.
Also, don’t end your posts at thanks for watching. Always give a next step. Ask them to comment a keyword, DM you, or hit your bio link. Otherwise you’re leaving money on the table. And if you want a quick win today? Go back to your last 5 vids, and DM every single person who liked or commented saying yo thanks for showing love 👊 curious are you looking to make sales online yourself or just watching for inspo? That one line turns dead likes into real convos, and convos are where sales come from.

GuestAugust 28, 2025 at 2:41 pmWhen you are building out your videos and captions, remember to always have a strong and clear CTA. Frame it this way: What do you want your viewer to do when they see your video?
Like, comment, save, share, repost, head to a link…etc.
Give your viewers a strong indication of what to do next and pair that with a strong engagement strategy.
