how much should i charge for instagram promos?
Posted by seohelper on December 28, 2020 at 12:11 ami run a meme account with 40,500 followers. an account with 1,000 followers messaged me asking about promos and i haven’t done them before so i’m not sure how much to charge. does anyone have any advice/ideas on how much i should charge? how should the promo prices differ from post to story?
also idk how much this matters but my engagement hasn’t been great recently, i get 2.5k-7k views per story and 1.5k-10k likes per posts (it varies a lot because i post multiple times a day)

GuestDecember 28, 2020 at 2:29 amYou’re worth however much the smaller account is willing to pay. We’d need more info for pricing. What countries are your audience from? What are their age ranges? How easily can you make content around the smaller page in the same style and effectiveness as your regular content? If not the engagement with it will really suffer. A shout-out is probably worth like $50 tbh

GuestDecember 28, 2020 at 4:06 amHype Auditor (you can access insights for one of your accounts for free) calculates the value of story and feed posts for you (it’s in your report) based on the authenticity, age range, assumed income range and location of your followers and on your account’s metrics.
I’d take this as a base. It’s probably not much though, meme pages usually have a younger audience that doesn’t really connect with the page itself.
If the smaller account is another meme page, it might be worth something for them though, although it’s hard to monetise this kind of content and they might not be aware of this and that it’ll be hard to make this investment back.
At the end of the day it’s your call, just try not to take advantage of someone’s naivety.

GuestDecember 28, 2020 at 7:43 am$5-$10 for stories is fair depending on how much success you get from the first few. Start with $5 and watch their results. Do it again a few times and see if it’s consistent. If it is. Raise the price
If you’re doing ads at the ends of posts for multiple post. Creating a package price. Same deal. Start cheap and see what happens
Most of the time meme pages don’t have influence on people to follow or buy anything from whoever the page is advertising unless it’s within the same sub genre (gaming memes and gaming gear) and even then it’s not always going to be very beneficial
So start low and then watch the results

GuestDecember 28, 2020 at 6:21 pmAll these people here clearly have no idea what their talking about. Bunch of idiots. If your averaging 25K views a video. You can easily charge $50 – $75 per permanent post. I would even charge more in certain cases. Think about it just logistically for a second. A brand promotes a product to that 20,000 person pool of viewers. Say 1% of your ad viewers buy a $15 product. That’s company just made $3,000. All you idiots need to realize your true value. If you can bring the views. Then you can make as much as you want… idc what anyone says

GuestDecember 30, 2020 at 8:17 pmWhat??! You can get so much more than 50 a post. If it Aligns with your audience and you send to do it. I ran a page that had 25k and their rate was 1k per static post. Charge what you fee your value is. 50 bucks is ridiculous

GuestJanuary 2, 2021 at 8:29 amIf you are a user of Dawn.com I highly suggest you watch your friendslist for a user by the name of m1ne. He has been known to dox and even hack user’s accounts. Don’t open a chat with him, that’s all it takes for him to take your info. i’ve tried to report him to the mods but they haven’t done anything, won’t even look at my tickets.

GuestJanuary 4, 2021 at 12:18 amHeya, I have been an influencer for 5+ years and since my account had 30k I charged £1000 for a main feed and £500 for a story, I live in London and have a lot of friends who do this to and I can 100 percent say with confidence that these are very normal fees that brands never say no to.
I hope that helps
