How many people are not satisfied with the social media.

No. The algorithm sucks. It makes it so I’m not actually seeing my friend’s posts, and if I do it’s often days or weeks later. It’ll get all messed up if I like a few similar posts in a row and then that’s all I’m seeing for weeks. I don’t want AI suggestions or so many adds.
I want MySpace back. -
I’m not tired of social media, I’m tired of the algorithm deciding what I should care about instead of what I chose to follow. It stopped feeling social and started feeling like TV…

There’s still value in social media.. but balance is missing.. More tools for mental well-being and healthier usage habits would make it better.. right now it feels addictive by design

Everything Meta is satanic. It’s like you can feel the psychopathy from Zuck and the illuminati class coming down through the algorithm, playing people like puppets and pitting people into this vapid disturbing competition with each other
Reddit and tiktok are ok though. But the moderation on reddit is getting out of hand when it used to be a lot more open

It was better before algorithms and main feed pages. I grew up on aim and MySpace, the early days did it right. Adding personalized algorithms and tailored content ruined it all. We use to just get minimal direct news locally and globally as well as stay in touch with friends and family and up till 2014 trends weren’t for virality they were for raising funds or awareness for good causes. Cancel culture was a collective conscious that we all reached around 2013 and then when it was all balanced we got fed into new algorithms and feeds and started disconnecting more and more to the point where now they have to put ai accounts for us to chat with… it’s absurd. Anyways, no ai, or an off switch on our accounts for it, and classic app experiences that don’t have ads or algorithm feeds they’re just the people we care to follow in chronological order, and as far as videos remove them from IG and just leave them on YouTube and TikTok. Facebook go back to the og feed and just be focused on groups and community page or market pages. At this point if I pick 1 to 2 features from each app for a new app it’ll be what it should be but rn none of them are fully

Meta’s algorithm absolutely suck, I hate the content I get from them.
X is as awful as it gets.
Reddit is still sort of decent.
Tiktok is very good but they’re changing it with the forced acquisition. -
Depends what you mean when you talked about “being satisfied”.

I think the current social media platforms in general has just made people more isolated. People browse and interact less.

I feel like a lot of people aren’t fully satisfied with social media anymore. It’s great for staying connected, but the constant ads, comparison culture, and algorithm overload can get exhausting. I’d love to see less pressure for perfection and more genuine, chronological content instead of everything being pushed by engagement.

I got so dissatisfied that I built an app to help people get off it, the algorithm is only designed to steal your attention.

Genuinely speaking the most frustrating thing is the algorithm of the social media apps. Even though I don’t watch certain types of posts or videos, yet it keeps on popping on my feed. Now a new ad feature has also come to whatsapp status which is going to ruin the experience even more. 😅😅
