How long does it take to reinstate a banned Facebook Ads account
Posted by on May 8, 2021 at 5:47 amI see many people have posted about Facebook randomly banning their ads manager account.
Has anyone managed to reactivate theirs?
Mine was banned two days out of nowhere even though we are running the same type of ads for 1.5 years now. We sell digital products and we have many competitors who run similar ads.
I tried contacting the Facebook chat support and my Rep but both of them suggest waiting for their internal team investigation and they don’t know how long it will take.
For context, I was told to upload my government ID, and only after verifying it will they look into my ads manager review request.

The ban is temporary to ensure that all ‘ad managers’ are verified people, to limit the number of fake businesses, or banned managers from creating duplicate accounts.
Ideally, you should get your account back in 3-7 working days. If you’re lucky, it could be sooner, but don’t hold your breath.
Additionally, if you’re running multiple ad accounts from multiple business managers, don’t add yourself as a user instead add yourself as a **’partner’** business manager that way, you won’t experience a domino effect of all ad accounts liked you being banned until you verify yourself individually for each.
Occasionally visit business tool > account quality > request review and see if any new steps are required for you to complete in order to get your ad account back.

Similar thing happened to me.
Running same ads for 18 months, then got banned.
Appealed it for 6 months, many times. Told decision was final.Had to find a workaround and take the hit of starting over.
FB are alienating a lot of agencies and biz owners by doing this, but perhaps there are enough big marketers on FB’s books that they don’t care about the smaller players like us (I spend $100k/year in ads)

Mine was disabled recently. Took 2 days for them to review and reinstate.
