How else to drive traffic to your site?
Posted by on April 15, 2021 at 2:11 pmI’m trying to help a client with SEO to drive traffic to his site but he refuses to write content or hire a content writer. He has these link-building techniques that haven’t been helping drive more traffic for more than 4 months now. Target keywords are not ranking at all.

Content is a must-have, really. You can try using paid ads, guest post and social media

What are you optimizing if not content? The same tired content?

PPC would probably be best for this situation. But that’s wild that this client is so against new content.

Link building is the right strategy but obviously how he is doing it is not working.
I’ve positioned hundreds of sites over the years with links only. I have an SEO site with zero articles on it, ranking competitively just based on the dozen or so site pages + link building. No articles/regular content updates. In fact other than changing the number of years in service (I make this change once per year) my content does not change.
